My project post

Seven weeks ago we started out projects for the end of the year. Chloe and I decided to create an app, an app that can solve all of your homework problems. At the start of the seven weeks, we went on app lab and followed the tutorials that they have on their site to create an app. As we went through all of the tutorials we learnt how we could potentially create our own app. Our Homework help app has a range of subjects that you can choose then ask a question about your homework. After that, it brings you to another screen to wait for your answer process.

Chloe mainly did the design/colours of the app while I did more of the coding side. We decided on our colour theme (Purple.)

I have never really done digital tech before this but it is very interesting with all the types of codes and ways to program programs. Our app has working buttons and everything was completed by ourselves. When you click on the subjects button it takes you to a page with all the 6 subjects we have. There is also a check off planning tool that you can check off once you have done your task and there is a notes section that you can write your notes on.  If I were to do this again I probably would add more coding and make the app more interesting with more pops of colour.

Reflection

For the past term in Forensics class, we have been learning everything that would lead up to the point that we create our own crime scene in a miniature version. We learnt about blood spatter patterns, fingerprints and DNA profiling. My group and I decided that we would make ours in a small shoebox with a road lengthening out from one side to the other. We created a crime scene sketch before we did anything else to plan out our work. If I were to do it again I would work more together as a group instead of doing everything separately. Later on, I did an autopsy report not getting too much into detail though. We created a presentation about the crime (Highway to Hell) We had to create a title with a pun in it. Our deceased body is made out of green felt, therefore the name "Mr. Green."

Murder Scene - group project write up.

"Highway to hell": A mid-age man was found dead on the side of the road. With hardly any information about this deceased man Police only have found his last name "Mr. Green." Witnesses describe the collide as somehow accidental. Other drivers claimed they saw someone walking around the roads carelessly just under an hour before the body was found. On the body, there were tire tracks with gashes of blood on him. The police assume he was run over. The tire tracks folding across his body are also trailing down the road for 1km. The location has been blocked off where the man's body still lays as police investigate the situation further.
